Legal
Terms of Use
These are draft terms provided as a starting point. They should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel and updated with the organization's registered details before the site is published.
Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Charitable status and donations
Christians in Need International does not currently represent itself as a registered 501(c)(3) organization, a tax-exempt entity, or a legally recognized charity, and gifts should not be treated as tax-deductible. Gifts are made as general support of our humanitarian mission. Any change in status will be published on this website.
Where you indicate a preference for a particular program, that preference is treated as a request. If it cannot be honored — because the program is not yet operating, the need has been met, or restricting the gift is not legally or practically possible — funds may be applied at the organization's discretion to accomplish its charitable mission.
Recurring gifts
Monthly gifts continue until cancelled. You may change or cancel a recurring gift at any time by contacting us, and cancellation takes effect before the next scheduled payment where reasonably possible.
Refunds
If a gift was made in error or in an incorrect amount, contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
Content and accuracy
We aim to publish accurate, non-sensationalized information. Content marked as placeholder is illustrative and does not describe identified individuals. Statistics are attributed to their sources. We do not guarantee outcomes for any individual or family.
Intellectual property
Text, images, and design on this website belong to Christians in Need International or are used with permission. Please contact us before reproducing story content or photographs; some material carries consent restrictions that limit how it may be used.
Prohibited use
You may not use this site to attempt to identify, locate, or contact people described in our stories, to submit automated or fraudulent form entries, or to interfere with the operation of the site.
Third-party links and services
We link to external sources and will use a third-party payment processor. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites and services.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always appears on this page.
