How your donation helps
Where your giving goes
Simple, honest examples of the kinds of help a gift can contribute toward — and a clear explanation of what we can and cannot promise.
Examples
What a gift can contribute toward
These are illustrative examples, not guarantees. We have not yet established fixed program costs, and we would rather show you an honest range than a precise-sounding number we cannot stand behind.
$25
Can help provide basic emergency necessities.
$50
Can contribute toward food, transportation, or other immediate needs.
$100
Can contribute toward medical, educational, or emergency assistance.
$250
Can provide more substantial assistance to a vulnerable individual or family.
$500+
Can help support larger humanitarian needs.
Please note: the amounts above are examples of the kind of assistance a gift may contribute toward. They are not a promise that a particular sum will produce a particular result for a particular person.
Monthly giving
Why recurring gifts matter most
Poverty and bonded labor are not one-time events. Predictable monthly income lets us commit to continuing assistance — school fees across a full year, ongoing medical care, and steady support during the fragile months after a family leaves an exploitative arrangement.
You can indicate a preference
When you give, you may indicate that you would like your gift directed toward:
- Where Most Needed
- Pakistan Brick Kiln Families
- Food & Emergency Relief
- Medical Assistance
- Children & Education
- Freedom & Family Assistance
Program preferences are treated as a request. Where a preference cannot be honored — because a program is not yet operating, the need has been met, or restricting the gift is not legally or practically possible — funds may be used at the organization's discretion to accomplish its charitable mission.
